U of N. Dakota Faces Deadline To Change Fighting Sioux Nickname
August 15, 2011
The University of North Dakota faces a deadline today to comply with the NCAA's policy on mascots "deemed hostile or abusive toward Native Americans." Chicago Minority Students Demand Changes
July 15, 2011
Students packed Chicago Public Schools headquarters to deliver a report on school discipline policies that contends the district spends more than 14 times as much on school security as it does on student counseling.
